La Jolla Alta is a La Jolla neighborhood of spacious homes on large lots in addition these are considered planned residential developments.   The community of single and two story homes is located on the south slope of Mount Soledad and is known for the spectacular views of the ocean, Mission Bay, city lights and the mountains to the east.
